INGREDIENTS

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 0.4 lb / 7 oz each)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (reserve 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (full fat or light)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    Trim any unwanted fat from the chicken breasts and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer:
    Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3-5 minutes. While it’s heating, prepare the seasoning.
  • Mix Seasonings:
    In a small bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Reserve about 1 teaspoon for later.
  • Coat the Chicken:
    • Brush the smooth side of each chicken breast with mayonnaise.
    • Sprinkle some of the seasoning mix evenly over the mayonnaise.
    • Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over it, gently pressing it to adhere.
  • Cook the Chicken:
    • Carefully place the chicken in the air fryer, seasoned side down.
    • Repeat the seasoning process for the other side (brush with mayo, then apply seasoning and parmesan cheese).
    • Cook in the air fryer at 365°F (185°C) for 8-9 minutes.
  • Flip and Finish Cooking:

    Air fry for an additional 7-8 minutes at 375°F (190°C) or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (73°C).
