HOW TO STORE AND TRANSPORT KETO PROTEIN ENERGY BALLS
Protein balls are a fantastic snack choice, providing a quick and convenient energy boost on the go. To maintain their texture and flavor, it’s essential to store and transport them properly. Here are some helpful tips:
STORE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER
Keep protein balls in an airtight container to prevent them from drying out or becoming stale. A glass or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid works well, or you can use a reusable zip-top bag.
REFRIGERATE FOR FRESHNESS
You can store protein balls in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, which helps preserve their texture and flavor. For a firmer texture, consider freezing them, where they can last for up to three months.
USE PARCHMENT PAPER FOR STACKING
If you plan to stack protein balls in a container or bag, separate them with parchment paper to avoid sticking together.
TRANSPORT IN A COOLER
When transporting protein balls, especially in hot weather or over long distances, keep them in a cooler to prevent them from getting too warm.
PACK IN A SEALABLE BAG
To prevent spills or crushing, transport protein balls in a sealable bag or container. A reusable zip-top bag or a plastic container with a tight lid is ideal.
By following these storage and transportation tips, you can ensure your protein balls remain fresh and delicious, no matter how busy your day gets!
