INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz dill pickle chips
  • ¼ cup blanched almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • Avocado oil, for frying

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Prepare the Pickles: Drain all the juice from the pickle jar and place the pickle chips on paper towels. Blot with additional paper towels until they are dry to the touch.
  • Set Up Breading Stations: In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg until well combined. In another shallow bowl, mix the almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  • Heat the Oil: In a skillet, heat avocado oil over medium-high heat.
  • Bread the Pickles: Using tongs, dredge the dry pickle chips in the egg mixture, then coat them with the almond flour mixture. Carefully place the coated pickles into the hot oil.
  • Fry the Pickles: Let the pickles fry for 1-2 minutes, then flip them over and fry until both sides are browned and crispy.
  • Drain and Serve: Once cooked, remove the fried pickles and place them on dry paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite keto dipping sauce.

NOTES

Ensure the pickles are dry before dredging them in the egg; this helps the batter adhere better. Enjoy your crispy treat!
