  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2/3 cup fat-free cottage cheese
  • 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • A sprinkle of parmesan cheese (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute.
  • Add the lean ground beef along with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried onion flakes. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked through.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chicken broth (or water), and the pasta. Stir until everything is well combined.
