Enjoy the benefits of superfoods like turmeric and ginger with these simple anti-inflammatory turmeric shots—no need for a fancy cold press juicer!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 lemons, juiced
  • 3 oranges, juiced
  • 1 tsp finely grated ginger
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine all ingredients in a large mason jar or any sealable container. Shake well until fully mixed.
  • Refrigerate for about an hour to chill.
  • Serve and enjoy!
  • Leftover shots can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.

Notes
These shots have a bold, bitter flavor, so be sure to drink them quickly! I usually take two shots per serving and follow up with a glass of cold water.
